Fred Stilson

Freddie Ferral Stilson, age 64, passed away Oct. 13, 2001, in Nephi, Utah.

He was born Nov. 25, 1936, in Springville, Utah, to George and Alfreda Barker Stilson. He married Shirley Bushman, they later divorced. He married Claudia Smith March 15, 1970, in Ely, Nevada.

He is survived by his wife Claudia of Nephi; children, John (Julie) Stilson of Indianola, Christine (Kevin) Elmer of Springville, Lonnie Stilson of Hagerstown, Maryland, and Jason (Kelli) Stilson of Nephi; 4 grandchildren; mother, Alfreda Stilson Jolley of Washington, Utah; brothers, Van (Karen), Gary (Denise), Mike (Josie), Don (Gale), Dee (Deborah), Max, and sister, Marianne. He was preceded in death by a son, Dustin Stilson; father, George Ferral Stilson; brother, Jack Stilson.

He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Carpenters Union. He enjoyed golfing, camping, 4-wheeling and played bass guitar for the Bona Brothers Band for many years.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2001, in the Nephi North Stake Center, 1125 North 400 East. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services. The burial will be in the Nephi City Cemetery.
