Bettie Anderson Beach

Bettie L. Stanley Anderson Beach, age 73, passed away Sept. 29, 2000, at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center from complications of open heart surgery.

She was born May 9, 1927, in Nephi, Utah, to William Leroy and Bettie Memmott Stanley. Bettie married Andy Lee Anderson Dec. 15, 1945. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Following Lee's death in 1984 she married Roland Beach. He died in 1999.

Bettie enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She worked for many years at the Tiara Café in Nephi and delivered Meals on Wheels for over ten years. She was involved with the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. As a member of the LDS Church Bettie served in many church callings during her life.

She is survived by two sons, Steve Anderson, and Andy (Beverly) Anderson, all of Nephi; two daughters, Susan Davis of Santaquin, and Mary (Larry) Higginson of Nephi; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Leroy Stanley of Nephi. She was preceded in death by a son, Wayne; brothers, Eugene, and her twin Billy; and sister, Julia.

Funeral services were held Oct. 3, 2000, in the Nephi North Stake Center. Burial in Vine Bluff Cemetery Nephi, Utah.
