He was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Lola and he is survived by his lovely current wife, Lou. He has five children, 4 stepchildren, 29 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. He was born in Nephi, Utah, on September 15, 1922. Gordon was a brilliant electrical engineer and worked for GE, Naval Research Labs, Sperry Univac, and Hughes Aircraft over the years. He taught his children a love of the outdoors. He was an avid camper, hiker, trout fisherman and hunter. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the LDS Church at 235 East 550 North in Springville. Interment in the Inglewood Park Cemetery, 720 E. Florence Ave. in the Los Angeles area on September 25. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the LDS Church perpetual education fund.
