Aaron L. Newton
1987-2007


Aaron La Mar Newton, 20, born July 15, 1987, passed away on Sept. 19, 2007. His sister, Kristyn was there with open arms to greet him. He is survived by his mother, Kristy Bowler, stepfather, Stuart Bowler, his father, Steve Newton, stepmother, Deluvia Newton; stepsister, Shenna Whiting; grandparents, Alice Roundy, Claudette Johnson, Gary and Linda Allen; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins.
Aaron was preceded in death by his sister Kristyn, grandfathers Ross Newton and Robert Roundy. He worked for Mid-State Consultants of Nephi. Aaron enjoyed camping, hunting, trap shooting. Aaron had a big heart. He was sensitive, caring, and loved all of his family and friends. We'll miss you son.
Funeral services were Monday, September 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mona LDS Church. Interment in the Mona Cemetery.



Louise I. Hall Lanier
1923-2007


Louise Irene Hall Lanier, age 83, passed away September 20, 2007, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Louise was born December 6, 1923 in Nephi, Utah, the daughter of Perry Cleveland and Laurel Elizabeth Francom Hall. Louise was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and faithfully served in various capacities. She attended LDS Business College. She was a highly skilled and valued secretary and worked for many executives including Ernest L. Wilkinson, President of BYU. She married Howard Lanier in July 1970, later divorced. She enjoyed traveling, golf and spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed her nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
Louise is survived by her sister, Ruth Jensen, Nephi, Utah; two brothers, R. Lynn (Mary Ann) Hall, Roosevelt, Utah, and Richard (Kathy) Hall, Orem, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Perry, George and Elwood.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 1, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at the Holladay 3rd Ward, 4568 Holladay Blvd, where friends may visit with the family from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the Church. Interment and dedication will be at 3:30 p.m. at the Vine Bluff Cemetery in Nephi, Utah.
