Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 pm at the
Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North and at the
church one hour prior to services.

Blanche Stephenson
Blanche LaRue Francom Stephenson passed away in her home
in Levan on Sept. 13, 2000.
Blanche was born Mar. 1, 1928, to Walter and Fern Carter
Francom in Levan, Utah, where she lived the rest of her
life. She married Quentin Stephenson on Oct. 11, 1946, in
Nephi. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS
Temple.
Blanche was an active member of the LDS Church where she
served in many church positions. She enjoyed quilting and
handwork. She worked at Nephi Pack for 25 years.
She is survived by her husband, Quentin Stephenson of
Levan; two sons and three daughters, Terry ( Cheryl)
Stephenson, Randy Stephenson, Jill (Kim) Jarrett, all of
Levan, LuAnn (Randy) Hanks of Payson, and Jolene (Brent)
Campbell of Nephi; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren;
two brothers and three sisters, George (Denise) Francom of
Las Vegas, Nevada, Don ( Lenore) Francom of Levan, Nadine
(Dick) Ingram of Nephi, Wanda Frehner of St. George, and
Maureen (John) Priest of Post Falls, Idaho. She was preceded
in death by her parents and a sister, Doris Buhler.
Funeral services were held Sept. 16, 2000 in the Levan
LDS 2nd Ward. Burial in the Levan Cemetery.
Ethel Williams
Ethel Mintie Lee Williams, age 77, of Fountain Green
passed away Sept. 12, 2000, at Heritage Hills Care Center.
She was born Apr. 30, 1923, to Roy Lee and Mintie Ethel
Richardson in Leadville, Colorado. Her parents passed away
when she was a child and she was raised by Rast and Dolly
Larsen in Wales, Utah. She married Derrell Williams on Feb.
20, 1946, in Fountain Green. Their marriage was later
solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.
Ethel was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in
many capacities including, Relief Society President, Primary
President ,and she enjoyed working in the Manti LDS
Temple.
She is survived by five children, Gordon of Fountain
Green, Carol (Gary) LeFevre of Taylorsville, John
(Charlotte) of Payson, Carl (LuAnn) of Orem, and Dave
(Debra) of Glenwood; 14 grandchildren; 7
great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters. She was
preceded in death by her husband and four brothers.
Funeral services were held Sept. 15, 2000, in the
Fountain Green LDS Chapel. Interment in the Fountain Green
City Cemetery.
George Anderson
George Elmo Anderson passed away Monday, Sept. 18, 2000.
He was born June 10, 1913, in Fountain Green, Utah, to Ada
Mae Carter and Andrew Hyrum Anderson. He married Beth Hansen
in Moroni, Utah, on Oct. 24, 1932. Their marriage was later
solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.
Elmo served as a counselor in the Fountain Green Ward
Sunday School Presidency, Ward Clerk, and home teacher. He
worked as a farmer, hardware store manager, and weigh clerk
and as a coal miner.
Elmo is survived by two daughters, Vaunile (Laury)
McNeill of Sandy, and Phyllis Sorensen of Fountain Green;
one son, Merrill (Nedra) Anderson of Moroni; 10
grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and five
great-great-grandchildren. Elmo was preceded in death by his
parents, wife, one brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 21, 2000, at
11:00 a.m. at the Fountain Green LDS 1st Ward Chapel, 151
South 200 West. Family and friends may call at the Church
from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Fountain Green
City Cemetery under the direction of Ursenbach Funeral
Home.
