Gloria Gustin
Gloria Ockey Gustin passed away August 3, 2004 at her
home in Nephi, Utah, after a struggle with cancer. She was
born July 4, 1927 in Moroni, Utah, to Floyd Spencer and Mary
Isabel Rostron Ockey. She married Jack M. Gustin August 10,
1946 in Nephi. Their marriage was solemnized January 25,
1992 in the Manti LDS Temple. Jack passed away in 1991.
While they raised their family in Nephi, Gloria worked
as a waitress for 33 years. She was a devoted member of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in
many positions in the church.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeanni (Steven)
Walsh of Nephi, Mary Ellen (Gerald) Dockery of St. Louis,
Missouri, and Dora Lee Rogers of Nephi; 7 grandchildren; 9
great-grandchildren; brothers, Eugene Ockey, John (Sue Ann)
Ockey, and Don (Julie) Ockey.
Funeral services were held August 9, 2004 in
Nephi.
