Thomas Stephenson
Thomas Ray Stephenson, age 85, passed away Aug. 18, 2003
in Nephi, Utah.
He was born Aug. 29, 1917 in Nephi to Thomas William
and Sarah Elizabeth Ivie Stephenson. He married Nell Denee
Park on May 14, 1945 in Nephi,. Their marriage was later
solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.
He was member of the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints and served in many positions. He worked
for NRP for 35 years. He enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by his wife of Nephi; children, Gary
Stephenson of Mt. Pleasant, Beth (Ron) Taylor of Nephi,
Kathy Tullis of Washington, and Marlo (Heidy) Stephenson of
Nephi; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Mildred and
Zelma; one brother, Harold; great-grandson, Kaden Kevin
Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug.
22, 2003, in the Nephi 3rd Ward, 345 East 500 North. Friends
may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson
Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North and at the church one hour
prior to the services. Interment will be in the Nephi City
Cemetery.
