MISS JUAB

The 2003 Juab County Fair began August 4 with
the Miss Juab County Scholarship Pageant. Nine
contestants participated in the Pageant. Skip and
Danese Worwood served as Master and Mistress of
Ceremonies. The Pageant theme was "Let's All Do the
Hop to the Juab County Fair." The Pageant featured
music , dance and specialty numbers with a 1950s
theme, including an Elvis impersonation by Skip
Worwood. Talent selections were performed by Miss
Juab County 2002 AnnaLee Lundell and her 1st
Attendant Katie Sutherland.
Cheyenne Howarth was crowned Miss Juab County
2003. She presented a Country Western vocal solo
for her talent. 1st Attendant Jennifer Lynn
performed a tap dance routine. 2nd Attendant Jamie
Jones played the piano.
The new Royalty will reign over the activities
at the 2003 Juab County Fair which opens to the
public on Thursday, Aug. 7, at 6 p.m.
