Delwin Shepherd
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Sat., Aug. 5,
2000 in the Levan Ward Chapel. Friends may call Friday
evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home and at
the church one hour prior to services on Saturday. Burial
will be in the Levan Cemetery.

Ora Morgan
Ora Lucille Judd Morgan, age 85, died July 30, 2000. She
was born in Nephi, Utah, on Nov. 23, 1914, to George R.
Judd, Jr. and Grace Huntington Judd. She graduated from Juab
High School and attended the Agricultural College (USU) in
Logan, majoring in business education.
On Feb. 17, 1937, she married Fred Delahay Morgan in the
Manti LDS Temple. They were companions for 52 years until
Fred's death on Sept. 30,1989.
As a member of the LDS Church, she served in Primary and
Junior Sunday School for over 50 years. An accomplished
pianist, she accompanied musical groups for funerals,
weddings, family reunions, old folks parties and other
special occasions and was an organist for Ward and Stake
meetings.
Ora lived in Nephi most of her life. She worked as a
bookkeeper and secretary to W.C. Andrews. She was also
active in the Federated Women's Council and was a state
committee member for several years. In Salt Lake City, she
was a secretary to the CES Salt Lake Area Seminary
coordinators.
She is survived by four children, Judd (Pauline) Morgan
of Salt Lake City, Mary Margaret (Duane) Hanson of Idaho
Falls, Idaho, Jim Morgan of Centerville, and Les (Joyce)
Morgan of Sandy; 19 grandchildren; and 8
great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert L. Judd of Cherry
Valley California, and, Reid Judd of Fresno California. She
was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth R. Judd; and a
sister, Grace Judd.
Funeral services will be held at the Wasatch Lawn
Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt
Lake City, at 12:00 noon on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000. Friends
may call 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday evening and one hour prior to
the services on Thursday.
Oliver Frank Harris
Oliver Frank Harris, age 75, of Fountain Green, passed
away Monday, July 24, 2000. Bud was born Sept. 10, 1924, in
Nephi, Utah, to Frank and Ida Harris. He married Electa
Robertson Nov. 1, 1946, in Moroni, Utah. Their marriage was
later solemnized Dec. 11, 1963, in the Manti LDS Temple.
Bud served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. He enjoyed
riding horses and spending time with his sons on the
mountains with the sheep herds. Bud enjoyed coaching little
league baseball and served as Scout Master for many
years.
Bud is survived by his children: James Edwin Harris of
Corona, California, Oliver Frank Jr. (Cathy) Harris of
Spanish Fork, Constance Ann (Michael) Roper of Mt. Pleasant,
Nora Valerie Harris of Moroni, Timothy Prestwich Harris of
Salt Lake City, Richard Harvey Harris of Knoxville,
Tennessee, and Carole Ann (Eric) Langston of Salina; 15
grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and brother, Val W.D.
(Rheta) Harris, of Lake Havasu, Arizona. He was preceded in
death by his wife, sister, brother, grandson and
granddaughter.
Graveside services were held July 27, 2000, at the Moroni
City Cemetery. Military Honors were provided by VFW Post
9276 of Mt. Pleasant.
