Grace Olivia Eyre
2006~2017

Grace Olivia Eyre was born on March 22, 2006, in Orem Utah. She died on July 14, 2017, from injuries sustained in an accident.

Grace had a beautiful smile and loving spirit. She was the Pied Piper of neighborhood children and loved to be around lots and lots of people.

Grace was an athlete. She started with running, skipping right over plain, old walking in order to run. Once, when told she must slow down, she replied “I don’t know how to go slow.” She showed off her speed on the soccer field, which she played for eight years; on the track, where her favorite race was the 400M; to the basketball court, where what she lacked in height, she made up for in steals and fast breaks. She once said, “I can steal the ball before they even notice me.”

For the last three years, her true love was WaspFit, her beloved CrossFit program, which she attended faithfully. She was very proud of her deltoid muscles and worked hard to build a six pack. She loved Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors, and would play Around the World in the driveway until she didn’t miss. And though she was a fierce competitor, Grace was a fun-loving, goofy, tender-hearted, intuitive soul, who immediately knew when someone was hurting or needed a friend. She once wrote that the thing she disliked the most was “rude people.”

She had a gift for learning a song after hearing it just a few times, from ‘70s rock to modern pop. It’s hard to pick a favorite artist, but she loved One Direction, Brandi Carlile, whom she saw in concert last summer, and the cast recordings of “Hamilton” and “Newsies”. She loved watching lip synch battles from “The Tonight Show” on YouTube, reruns of “The Golden Girls,” and “The Office”, and a smattering of Disney Channel live action shows and Cartoon Network originals. She had a weekly date with her dad and brother to watch “Beat Bobby Flay”, “Next Food Network Star” and “Modern Family.”

She is survived by her parents, Jon and Jessica, brother Caleb and sister Lucy; grandparents Don and Marcia Eyre and Mike and Leslie Warren; many cousins, aunts, uncles, great-grandparents and extended family. She is preceded in death by cousin Aiden McEwan and great-grandmothers Winagene Eyre and Joyce Clark.

Her parents would like to thank their family, friends and the community for the outpouring of love, support, tributes, and other expressions of care in the aftermath of this horrific tragedy.

Eleven and a half years was not enough, Goose. You were much too fast for us.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday July 21, 2017 at the Nephi Stake Center, 351 North 100 West Nephi, UT. Family and friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 pm at the Nephi Stake Center and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Nephi Vine Bluff Cemetery.

Reva G. Morgan
1925 ~ 2017

Reva Golden Morgan started life on April 29, 1925 and passed away July 11, 2017 in Nephi, Utah. She was the 2nd child of Rufus Stafford Golden and Zelma Elizabeth Christensen. Reva loved life and family. In 92 years she packed in a lot of life. (The last few years were a little less than wonderful!)

Reva met her husband Fay LeGrand Morgan, on a blind date arranged by Majorie Bird. As their interest in each other grew they were married on January 1, 1941 and were later sealed for time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on January 18, 1944. They raised their family of 6 children: Wayne, Russell, Sydnee, Brad, Randy and Karen. At Reva’s passing they had 26 grandkids, 47 great-grandkids and 6 great-great grandkids. Quite a posterity!

Reva (and Fay) loved camping. Deer camps, fishing trips, family trips or reunions were a great adventure waiting to happen with family and friends. The only thing better was watching the JAZZ! And the only thing better than that was going to a ball game or sport of any kind where kids or grandkids were playing. Grandpa Fay took kids to the coffee shop for hot chocolate and Grandma Reva loved giving out $1 bills for HOME RUNS or CAUGHT FLY BALLS or GOALS!

Reva worked at the turkey plant, sewing plant and Nephi Hospital to help support their family. Reva was an excellent seamstress, making clothes of every kind. Reva also loved to crochet afghans and bowl. Fay and Reva were part of the bowling league when they found spare time. Reva faithfully served in the LDS Church in the library, as a Primary teacher, a Relief Society Secretary, a Visiting Teacher, served on the Sunday School Stake Board and other callings as they came. Reva had a beautiful voice and loved to sing in the Ward Choir, and Reva and her mother, Zelma, were part of the Church Women’s Choir.

Reva was preceded in death of her immediate family by Wayne (son), Florence (sister), Zelma (mother), Rufus (father), Don (brother), Fay (husband), Brad (son), Glen (brother) and Clyde (brother).

Reva is survived by Gary (brother), Russ & Betty (son) Sydnee & Dan (daughter), Randy (son), Karen & Alan (daughter).
