Darrell Allred
1953-2005
Darrell Lynn Allred passed away July 3, 2005 at his
home in Rocky Ridge, Utah, from complications of cancer. He
was born March 10, 1953 in Murray, Utah, to Marvin Laddie
Allred, Sr. and Kathryn Jessop Allred.
He played a major role in the development of the
community and town of Rocky Ridge and was serving as the
current mayor. With his brother and brother-in-law he built
the cabinet business of Quality Craft Wood Works, Inc. He
was known for his sense of humor, love of music and
sports.
He is survived by a loving family and a host of
friends and loved ones.
His funeral will be held Friday, July 8, 2005 at 11:00
a.m. at the Rocky Ridge chapel, 157 N. East Ridge Rd., Rocky
Ridge, Utah. A viewing will be held at the Rocky Ridge
chapel Thursday, July 7 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and prior to
the funeral from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the
Rocky Ridge Cemetery. Funeral Directors, Anderson
Funeral Home, Nephi, Utah.
Berneice Worthington
1917-2005
Berneice Morley Worthington, age 87, passed away July
3, 2005 in Nephi, Utah. Berneice was born December 21, 1917
in Moroni, Utah, to Wilford LeRoy and Edna Olson Morley. She
married Henry Worthington September 16, 1936 in the Manti
LDS Temple. He passed a way October 2, 1996.
Henry and Berneice were married for sixty years. She
is survived by her three sons, Ned (Mavis) of Ephraim, Jay
(Nancy) of Highland, and Craig (Toni) of West Jordan; a
sister, Ethelyn Chapman of Moroni; twelve grandchildren and
twenty-two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by
her husband, an infant son and a grandson.
Berneice loved flowers, cooking, especially helping
Henry at the grocery store and raising their large vegetable
garden each year. She loved animals and worked along side
each of her boys with their 4H and FFA projects. She was a
very dedicated primary teacher and secretary for many
years.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday,
July 7, 2005 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300
North. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
Interment will be in Nephi Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi.
