The Juab County Fair will officially begin on Monday, Aug. 5, with the crowning of the new Miss Juab County 2002. The pageant will be held in the 7th/8th Grade Center Auditorium at 7:00 p.m.

Seven contestants will vie for the title: Jill Dinkel, daughter of Kathy Dinkel and Brad Dinkel; Jordan Gould, daughter of Randy and Kathy Gould; Annalee Lundell, daughter of Gary and Leanna Lundell; Kristin Paystrup, daughter of Dan and Kelley Paystrup; JaNae Stanley, daughter of Kevin and Janice Stanley; Katie Sutherland, daughter of Jim and DeAnn Sutherland; Rachelle Wilkey, daughter of Jim and Betty Wilkey.

Monday evening they will perform their talent, model evening gown and lifestyle and fitness wear, give a personal thought and answer an on-stage question. The 2001 Miss Juab County Royalty will crown the new royalty. The Paul Sutorius Family will host the ceremonies. It will be a night filled with lots of talent and entertainment as we 'Celebrate America.' Our local veterans will be honored. Special guests, the 2nd Battalion 23rd Marine 4th Marine Division, Fox Company, will present the colors and assist throughout the evening. The public is invited to attend, free of charge.

The new 2002 royalty will reign over the fair week festivities, August 6-10. Miss Juab County will represent the county at the Miss Utah State Fair Pageant in Salt Lake City in September.
