NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the County Commissioners of the County of Juab, or an authorized representative of the County Commissioners, on Monday, August 5, 2002, at 3:00 p.m., in the Commissioners Chambers of the Juab County Center, 160 N. Main Street, Nephi, Utah. The purposes of the hearing are to: (1) receive comments and hear discussion concerning the issuance in one or more series by the County of Juab (the “County”) of not to exceed $3,100,000 principal amount of revenue bonds of the County; and (2) consider the approval of the issuance by the Issuer of a maximum aggregate face amount of $3,100,000 of its revenue bonds (Intermountain Farmers Association Project), Series 2002 (the “Bonds”). If the Bonds are approved and issued, the proceeds thereof will be loaned by the County to Intermountain Farmers Association or its affiliate, assignee or nominee (the “Borrower”) for the purpose of assisting the Borrower in the financing of (i) the costs of acquiring, constructing and installing a grain manufacturing or processing facility (the “Project”) to be located at approximately 2941 W. 6300 South, Levan, Utah and (ii) a portion of the costs of issuing the Bonds. The Project will be owned and operated by the Borrower. IF ISSUED, THE BONDS SHALL NOT CONSTITUTE A DEBT OR PLEDGE OF THE FAITH AND CREDIT OF THE TAXING POWER OF THE STATE OF UTAH, THE COUNTY OF JUAB, OR ANY OTHER POLITICAL SUBDIVISION OF THE STATE OF UTAH.
