Teresa Jacobsen

Teresa Dee Newell Jacobsen, age 51, passed away July 6, 2001, in Provo, Utah.

She was born June 17, 1950, in Payson, Utah, to Harry Kay and Shirley Ellertson Newell. She married James V. Jacobsen June 28, 1969, in Mona, Utah.

She was a friend, teacher, and second mother to many.

She is survived by her husband, James, of Mona; children, Kristi (Chris) Mackle, Jamie (Joe) Inman, Mindy (Kris) Parkin, and Clayton Jacobsen; 2 grandchildren; brothers, Day (Marolyn) Newell, Harry S. (Celia) Newell, and Tom (Lori) Newell. She was preceded in death her parents, Harry and Shirley Newell.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2001, in the Mona LDS Chapel. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services. The burial will be in the Mona Cemetery.


Rebecca Keddington

On July 8, 2001, Rebecca Jean Robertshaw Meldrum Keddington was killed in an automobile accident near Beaver, Utah. Becky was born on Nov. 9, 1970, in Erie, Pennsylvania, to William Ian and Janice LaVerne Lawson Robertshaw. Her hobbies were floral arrangements, scuba diving, crafts and art.

She graduated from the American Medical and Dental School in Provo and was a Certified Nurses Assistant. She was previously employed as a home health aid, and worked at Heritage Hills Health Care Center. She was currently employed at the Serological Clinic in Provo as a technician. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Nephi 7th Ward.

She is survived by her parents, William and Janice Robertshaw of Nephi; brothers, Tom Robertshaw of Shelley, Idaho, and Mark Robertshaw of Holiday; sister, Julie Karren of Springville; children, Todd Meldrum 12, Travis Meldrum 10, and Tyler Keddington 3, all of Nephi.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2001, in the Nephi Stake Center, 351 North 100 West. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North and at the church one hour prior to services. The burial will be in the Vine Bluff Cemetery Nephi, Utah.

A trust fund will be set up at Nephi Far West and Wells Fargo Banks for her three children.
