Entrants invited to participate in Ute Stampede Horse Parade & Hide Ride

The Nephi Nebo Posse is sponsoring the Ute Stampede Horse Parade. It will be held Thursday, July 12, at 6:30 p.m.

Anyone wishing to enter the parade may do so by calling Reed Jensen at 623-1599, Brad Vickers at 623-8251, or Ken Lofgran at 623-4200.

Registration will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday at Nephi City Park at 500 South and Main Street.

The Nephi Nebo Posse is looking for individuals who are interested in participating in the Hide Race which will be held during each performance of the Ute Stampede Rodeo.

Hide racing is co-sponsored by the Ute Stampede and the Nephi Nebo Posse. Nightly cash awards will be paid to the top 3 teams. Top team from the three nights of competition will receive belt buckles.

Sign-up fee is $20.00 per night. Team may enter one, two or three nights.
