Madge Evans Allan
Madge Evans Allan, age 81, passed away July 25, 2000, in
Nephi, Utah. She was born Dec. 27, 1918, in Spanish Fork,
Utah, to Joseph Davis and Mary Dale Beck Evans. She married
Lee Merle Allan Nov. 23, 1935, in Springville, Utah. He died
Feb. 5, 1983.
She was a member of the LDS Church and was a visiting
teacher for many years.
She is survived by her six children, Myleen (Harold)
Liddiard, Gary Allan, Kent (Linda) Allan, all of Nephi, Dean
Allan of Seattle, Washington, Pat Capps of Salt Lake City,
and Rick (Suelyn) Allan of Spring City; 15 grandchildren; 29
great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; two
sisters, Anna Dale Loveless of Midvale, and Jeraldean Milner
of Salinas, California. She was preceded in death by a son,
Joe Allan; one brother, Reed E. Evans; one sister, Shirley
Housekeeper; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday,
July 29, 2000, in the Nephi LDS 3rd Ward, 345 East 500
North. Friends may call at the church prior to service from
10:30-11:45 a.m. Burial will be in Vine Bluff Cemetery
Nephi, Utah.
Phylis Chiaradia
Phylis Ingram Chiaradia passed away at her home July 20,
2000, in Antioch, California, from heart failure at the age
of 67.
She was born Sept. 19, 1932, in Nephi, Utah, to
Virginia Ingram Howard and the late Floran Ingram. She
married Evo Chiaradia of Antioch, California, on Oct. 12,
1950, and later divorced.
She grew up in Nephi and Mills. She attended school in
Levan and graduated from Juab High School. She was active in
4H, and took grand champion steer one year at the Delta
Livestock show. She was a member of the LDS Church. She
loved crafts, crocheting, and gardening.
She is survived by one son, Marty (Becky) Chiaradia of
Virginia Beach, Virginia; a daughter, Alice (Scott) Fish of
Westwood California; six grandchildren; a brother, Clyde
(Marilyn) Ingram of St. Anthony, Idaho; a sister, Voneal
(Ray) Ostler of Grays Lake, Idaho; and a step-brother, Bill
(Ruth) Howard of Nephi.
Burial services, pending, in the Nephi City Cemetery.
