Beauty Contest was held Saturday, July 15, in Nephi
City Park. Josie Jones was the winner of the contest.
She was sponsored by Big O Tires, Nephi. Hailey
Stephensen, 2nd place, was sponsored by A-1 Towing.
Tara Garrett, 3rd place, was sponsored by Tolley
Plumbing. LeAnne Hall, 4th place, was sponsored by
Ascentra. Melissa Carter, 5th place, was sponsored by
Bo's Construction.
24TH OF JULY ROYALTY • These children will
serve as the royalty of the 24th of July celebration
in Mona. Left to right: King Colton Squire, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Kevin Squire; Queen Shaylee Young, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Young; Prince Colby Thompson,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Thompson; and Princess Mystic
Garfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chad Garfield. The
celebration will be held on Saturday starting with a
flag ceremony at 7:30 a.m. at the Mona Park. The
parade will start at 10 a.m. on Mona Main Street. A
program will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the carnival
from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at the park. Fireworks at dark
at the park.
