Fireworks Restriction!

Due to the extremely dry conditions and the resultant very high fire danger, the Nephi City Council has enacted a fireworks restriction for the balance of this year.

Beginning June 26, 2012, the discharge of fireworks east of I-15 is prohibited. This prohibition includes all property within the city east of I-15 and all property owned by Nephi City east of I-15.

Violation of this new ordinance is a class B misdemeanor.

Note: Because of hazardous conditions, Nephi City's 4th of July community fireworks show has been postponed. The fireworks show will go forward at a later date, when conditions are conducive to a safe show.
