Lloyd Lyman Christensen
1937-2007
Beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend, Lloyd Lyman Christensen passed away Thursday, April 26, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Lloyd was born on July 28, 1937 in Nephi, Utah, to George Lyman and Norma Leora Day Christensen.
He grew up in Levan, Utah, and graduated from Juab High School. He married JoAnn Haney September 24, 1966 in the Manti LDS Temple, for time and all eternity. They lived in Nephi, Hatch, and Cedar City, Utah. They had four children: Susan, Scott Lloyd, Steven Haney, and Sally Ann. JoAnn died October 13, 1989.
Lloyd moved to Fredonia, Arizona, where he met and married Louise Robinson Judd, May 8, 2003. They lived in Kanab, Utah.
Lloyd is survived by his wife Louise of Kanab, Utah; his children Susan (Troy), Ivins, Utah; Scott, Cedar City, Utah; Steven, Orem, Utah; Sally Ann (Norman), Beaver Dam, Utah; two step-daughters, four stepsons; his mother, Leora, Levan, Utah; his brothers: Bryce (Sharon), Levan, Utah; Terry (Lynn), Maryland; and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, wife, stepson, and an infant sister.
Graveside services were held at the Levan Town Cemetery on May 1, 2007.


Gabriel Pettit
2006-2007


Gabriel Archibald Pettit, age 15 months, passed away May 7, 2007 at the Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born February 9, 2006 in West Jordan, Utah, to Ryan Louis and Kay Bateman Pettit.
Everyone loves you Gabriel. You brought a special joy with you and touched the lives of all you met. You are in better a place our little son and we will be with you again. Go and rest with your Heavenly Father and your family for a season. We love you and will never forget you. Keep dancing your heart out. Love from all that knew you.
Survived by his parents, Ryan and Kay Pettit of Levan; his big brothers, Branden, Jace, and Ashton; his loving grandparents, Mel and Christy Pettit; Lynn and Gail Bateman; great-grandparents Louis Breithaupt, George Brockbank, and Sybil Bateman (Grandma Cookie); along with many countless aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him very much.
Funeral services were held at 11a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2007 in the Nephi Stake Center, 351 North 100 West. Interment in the Levan Cemetery.


Madelyn Elardo Allred
1914-2007


Madelyn Allred of Fountain Green, Utah, passed away on May 3, 2007 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Madelyn was born May 30, 1914 in Scofield, Utah, to Phillip and Celestina Bertoni Elardo. She married D. Euray Allred in the Manti LDS Temple on March 27, 1940. He died March 17, 2002.
She will be remembered for her love for family and others through her many acts of kindness. She was always trying to find ways to serve and help others. Nobody ever went hungry when she was around. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings in the Relief Society, Primary, and M.I.A. Working with the Cub Scouts and 4-H was part of her legacy. Madelyn (Nonnie) was well known for her cookie jar that was never empty. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and cooking.
She is survived by her five children: Celes (Barney) Erickson, Naomi (Doug) Bennion, Phil (Susan) Allred, Jeannine (Perry) Sorensen, and Bryan (Susan) Allred; 19 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren; a sister, Santa Gorishek. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 1 grandson, 3 great-grandchildren, and 5 siblings.
We’ll miss you Nonnie.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 21, 2007 in the Fountain Green LDS Chapel. Friends may call Monday from 9:30-11:15 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in the Fountain Green Cemetery under the director of Anderson Funeral Home, Nephi, UT.
