ORDINANCE NO. 5/5/03A AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AND REPLACING IN ITS ENTIRETY PART 12-1-27, AIRPORT PROTECTION ZONE, OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF JUAB COUNTY, UTAH. WHEREAS, the Nephi City Airport has grown markedly in the number and size of aircraft using said airport since the creation of the current Airport Protection Zone, and WHEREAS, the Juab County Planning Commission, after careful consideration, has determined that, due to the increase in airport traffic, the size of aircraft using said airport, and the size of the airport itself!, the current Airport Protection Zone does not provide for the safe operation of the existing Nephi City Airport, nor does it provide for the safety of those persons and aircraft that use the airport and the genera! public and inhabitants of Juab County working and residing in the area around said airport, and WHEREAS, the Juab County Planning Commission has prepared a change to the Juab County Zoning Ordinance creating a new Airport Protection Zone, and WHEREAS, the Juab County Planning Commission!! has recommended that the current Part 12-1-27, Airport Protection Zone, of the Zoning Ordinance of Juab County, Utah be repealed and replaced with a new Part 12-I27, containing the change proposed and recommended by the Planning Commission, and WHEREAS, the Juab County Planning Commission has submitted said change to the Juab County Legislative Body for its approval, disapproval, or recommendations, and WHEREAS, the Juab County Legislative Body has held a duly noticed public hearing on the proposed zoning ordinance change, THE COUNTY LEGISLATIVE BODY OF JUAB COUNTY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Part 12-1-27, Airport Protection Zone, of the current Zoning Ordinance of Juab County, Utah, is hereby repealed in its entirety.
