Iris Lunt

Iris McIntosh Lunt, age 73, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2002, in Brigham City, Utah.

She was born Jan. 27, 1929, in Burlington Wyoming, to Ira James McIntosh and Florence Adella Yorgason. Iris married Richard Cowan Lunt Jan. 4, 1950. He died in 1965. Iris received her teaching certificate at the University of Wyoming and taught Home Economics in Burlington, Wyoming. She also enjoyed working in Yellowstone Park. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Iris is survived by her brothers and sisters, Maxine Laverne Shanor of Cheyenne Wyoming, Gertrude Voglesberg of Orem, Bus (Jill) McIntosh of Powell, Wyoming, Udell McIntosh of Fort Collins Colorado, Duane (Rita) McIntosh of Ventura California, Bob (Carol) McIntosh of Burlington Wyoming, Gordon (Shirley) McIntosh of Orem, Howard (Jean) McIntosh of Magna, and Eleanor (Cloyd) Bates of Burlington Wyoming; children, Dixon (Mary Beth) Lunt of Burlington, Wyoming, Floyd (Mary) Lunt of Katy, Texas, and Lynnea (Steven) Hall of Brigham City; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents; brothers Donny and Eugene, and grandson William Lunt.
