Jason Olsen

Jason Lynn Olsen, age 27, passed away May 1, 2001, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Warmsmutter, Wyoming.

He was born Jan. 14, 1974, in Payson, Utah, to Lee Vernon and Rebecca Sue Williams Olsen.

He graduated from Juab High School and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed motorcycle racing and horseback riding. He loved to draw and was a past member to the Juab County Search and Rescue. Jason was currently employed by J.T. Thorpe of Salt Lake City.

He is survived by his parents of Nephi, a son, Chandler Don; brothers, Kourtney of Mona, and Trevor of Nephi; sister, Andrea of Nephi; grandmother, Darlene Olsen of Centerfield. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernon Olsen and Jude and Ramona Williams.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 5, 2001, in the Nephi LDS 1st Ward. Burial in Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah.

Doris Kennedy

She was born Dec. 16, 1916, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was the middle child born to Alvin and Ester Englund. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and then moved to Hawthorne, California. She married Delbert Kennedy and lived in California until her retirement from Northrop Aviation. She has spent her last 20 years as a resident of Nephi.

She spent her last days living in the home of Kirk and Denise Winnie.

She is survived by her son, Larry (Bonnie) Kennedy; two grandsons; one great-granddaughter; and a sister, Lois Young of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her husband and older brother Kenneth Englund.

Funeral services will be held on May 11, 2001, in Minneapolis. Burial in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery.\


Hugh Kay May

There will be a short memorial service for Hugh R. Kay at the Mona Cemetery Saturday, May 12, at 1:00 p.m. Mr. Kay passed away in Elk Grove, California, Apr. 11, 2001.

He is survived by his sister, Zelda McPherson of Nephi, Utah.
