On behalf of the Juab Company Daughters of Utah Pioneers,
we give a heartfelt "thank you" to the Scouts, Varsity
Scouts, and Ventures from the Mona Second Ward for their
work in cleaning the grounds at the DUP Museum on Main
Street in Nephi. Thad Dalton solicited the work as a
project to complete requirements for an Eagle Scout
award. Thad recruited and supervised the help, kept track
of hours worked by both young men and adult leaders,
carried out instructions from DUP personnel, and
finalized the project just in time to meet requirements
before his eighteenth birthday. Shrubs were trimmed, the
yard was raked to clean up debris from the felling of
trees on the property, street;gutters were cleaned out,
and the outside benches were given a new coat of paint.
This cleanup was in preparation for the planting of new
trees and shrubs on the grounds and the installation of
new fencing at the southwest corner of the lot. You did a
good job, boys and leaders, and DUP ladies appreciate
your contribution of hard work in improving the looks of
