PUBLIC NOTICE
The Juab Rural Development Agency has completed the
application requirements for a solid waste permit for a
municipal Class II landfill at the existing landfill site
approximately five miles west of Nephi City in Juab
County, Utah. The permit application has been reviewed by
the Division of Solid and Hazardous Waste and a draft
permit has been issued. Class II landfills are municipal
landfills that receive less than 20 tons per day of
nonhazardous solid waste. The public comment period on
the draft permit begins May 24 and will end June 22,
2000.
