Lorene Kirgan
1908-2005
Lorene Garrett Morgan Kirgan, age 96, passed away
April 18, 2005 at the home of her daughter in Levan,
Utah.
She was born July 27, 1908 in Nephi, Utah to John
Edward and May Inez Bale Garrett. She married Ira Delyle
Morgan, May 14, 1929 in Nephi, Utah. He died in 1957. She
married Clinton Kirgan March 31, 1961 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He died 1973.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-Day Saints and served in many calling. She was a
member of the DUP. She liked to quilt, crochet and work in
her rose garden. She was a great mother, grandmother and
friend.
Survived by her daughter, Marilyn (George) Kendall of
Levan; grandchildren, Alan (Sue) Kendall, Kathy (Bill) Rice,
Scott (Lynette) Kendall, Michelle (Jerry) Crofts, Julie
(Mike) Mitchell; step-daughters, Colleen ( Gil) Hilton and
Maxine Denning; 17 great-grandchildren, 4
great-great-grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by 1 sister and 3 brothers.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 22, 2005 at
the Levan LDS Chapel. Interment in the Levan Cemetery.
Kristyn Newton
1983-2005
Kristyn Nicole Newton, age 21, has chosen a higher
place and left this earth April 18, 2005.
She was born May 3, 1983 in Provo, Utah, to Kristy Jo
Allen and Steven Rowe Newton.
She excelled in many sports. She loved art, painting
and creativity. She influenced many people through her
creativity.
She is survived by fiancé, Steve Francis;
parents; brother, Aaron; grandparents, aunts, uncles and
many cousins.
Graveside services were held Friday, April 22, 2005 at
the Mona Cemetery under the direction of the Anderson
Funeral Home, Nephi, Utah.
