Marla Miller
Marla Rae Kelsey Miller, age 64, passed away Apr. 11,
2001, at her home in Nephi, Utah.
She was born Mar. 3, 1937, in Eureka, Utah, to Arthur
Franklin and Myrtle Louise Skinner Kelsey. She marred David
Isaac Miller June 26, 1954. Their marriage was solemnized
Jan. 11, 1965, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She is survived by her husband of Nephi; children,
David (Corine) Miller of Provo, Steven Miller of Orem, Bruce
(Mindy) Miller of Parowan, Kerry, Kevin and Tara Miller, all
of Nephi; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild;
brothers, De, Randy, Kenneth, Gary, Ralph Kelsey; sisters,
Louise Sperry and Ranae Hazel. She was preceded in death by
her parents and one brother, Sherl.
Funeral services were held Apr. 14, 2001, in the Nephi
LDS 10th Ward. Burial in the Annabella Cemetery, Annabella,
Utah.
Hugh Ruben Kay
Hugh Ruben Kay passed away Apr. 11 at his home in Elk
Grove, California. Hugh was born in Mona, Utah July 18, 1912
to Reuben and Ionia Young Kay. He spent his adult life in
San Francisco, California, as a businessman. His retirement
years were spent in Sebastopol and Elk Grove.
An infant sister, Mary Ann, brothers Lynn, Ralph, and
Joseph preceded him in death. He his survived by his sister
Zelda Kay McPherson of Nephi.
A grave-side memorial will be announced in May.
Gayle Huggins
Emery Gayle Huggins, age 78, passed away Apr. 16,
2001, in Nephi, Utah.
He was born Aug. 31, 1922, in Fountain Green, Utah, to
George W. and Hatie Huggins.
He was raised in Fountain Green and was a sheepherder
and rancher.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday,
Apr. 19, 2001, in the Fountain Green Cemetery.
