Rowena K. Pew
1930~2014
Rowena Mryl Kenner Pew, age 83, passed away February 28, 2014 in Nephi, Utah.
She was born March 11, 1930 in Ogden, Utah to Cleon Harrison and Alvira Harriet Larkin Kenner. She married Walter Franklin Pew November 19, 1948 in the Manti LDS Temple. He passed away January 1, 2007.
Rowena was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She was active in the LDS church her entire life and served in various callings, including over 8 years in the Manti Temple. She was a lifelong resident of Nephi.
She is survived by her children, Randy (Carol) of St. George, Walter (Jackie), Clinton (Suzanne), daughter-in-law, Darlene Pew, Penny (Chris) Wilkey all of Nephi, Wade (Tamara) of Mesa, Arizona, 1 sister Donna Shepherd of Riverton; 22 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Franklin Craig Pew; sister Elaine Kenner Powell; brother, Eugene Kenner.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday, March 6, 2014 in the Nephi Stake Center, 351 N 100 W. Family and friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 W 300 N and at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Nephi Vine Bluff Cemetery.
