Clyde Hyrum Ewell
Together Again


In the midst of his loving family Clyde H. Ewell, age 87, passed away on February 27, 2013. He was born to Hyrum Ezekial and Leona Ewell on April 8, 1925 in Nephi, Utah. He attended Juab High School in Nephi.
On August 19, 1961 in Elko, Nevada he married the love of his life Colleen McPherson, this marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. Clyde loved and was very proud of his son, Scott L. Riddle and daughter, Tamara E. Broderick.
Clyde proudly served his country in WWII. He was an electronic technician at Hill Air Force Base for 34 years.
He was a man of many talents. He could fix anything that came his way. He loved his family and was always there for them. Some of his happiest days were spent fishing with his family and friends.
Clyde is survived by his children, Tamara E. Broderick, Ogden and Scott (Leanna) Riddle, Roy; grandsons, Shawn S. Riddle, Kelly R. Riddle, Michael D. Riddle, Brady R. Riddle and Tyson K. Broderick, one granddaughter, Kelsey A. Broderick; numerous great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Helen (Clarence) Reed, Barbara (Burt) Manwell and Leona (John) Hanson, all of Salt Lake City.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen M. Ewell; parents, Hyrum and Leona Ewell of Nephi, Utah; and one brother, Robert Ewell.
Funeral services were held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Lorin Farr 2nd Ward, 480 7th St.
Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
We would like to thank McKay Hospital 5th floor staff for their expert and compassionate care of our father. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Legacy Hospice. They sent us angels in our hour of need, Marie, Jody and Alan.

Mary Daley Aagard
1925 ~ 2013


Mary Daley Aagard, age 87, passed away at her home in Levan, Utah on March 3, 2013.
She was born on September 30, 1925 in Provo, Utah to James Graham and Amanda Morgan Daley. She was raised on a fruit farm in the Pleasant View area of Provo along with her older brother, Max Daley. She attended Lincoln High School in Orem, Utah, graduating in 1943.
Mary was married to Eugene Jensen Aagard on Christmas, 1943 in San Luis Obispo, California, where Gene was stationed in the Army at the beginning of World War II.
Mary and Gene raised their family of three sons and two daughters in Levan. She was very creative and talented in decorating her home and maintaining her beautiful yard. She had a great love for antiques.
Her life was one of service to anyone in need and especially to her family who adored her. The family's greatest memories are of having their breakfast of bacon, eggs and pancakes at Grandma Mary's.
Mary is survived by her children, Edward Aagard, Tom Aagard, Brent (Patrece) Aagard, Diane (Don) Ballow, all of Levan, Donna Bess of American, Fork; special nephew, Lee (Molly) Taylor of Mona; 19 grandchildren and soon to be 49 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Max, and grandson, Trent Eugene Aagard.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2013 at the Levan 2nd Ward, Levan, Utah. Friends may call from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment, Levan Cemetery.
