Barton Craig Ryan

Barton Craig Ryan, age 26, passed away March 12, 2008 at his home in Springville, Utah.
He was born December 8, 1981 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Craig Barton Ryan and Joyce Ann Steele. He married Caroline Robins September 22, 2000, later divorced.
He grew up in Eureka, Utah, and graduated from Tintic High School in 2000. Graduated from the Fred House Police Academy in 2003 with the Academic Achievement Award. He worked for the Utah State Prison and later went to work for Salt Lake County as a Correctional Officer. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and four wheelers. He loved Ford Mustangs.
Son of Craig and Barbara Ryan of Mona; Dave and Joyce Lant of Spanish Fork; Loving father of daughter Presley Ryan and her mother, Caroline Ryan of Santaquin; he leaves behind three brothers, Travis (Stacy) Ryan of Santaquin, Bret and Brad Ryan of Mona; step-brothers, Jon Lant, Jeremy Newell, and Kris Kay; step-sisters, Tiffany Atkin, Mckelle Kay, and Jennifer (Tyson) White; niece, Hope Ryan; nephew, Trey Nelson, Dylan and Conner White; many aunts and uncles; Fiancée, Heidi Ericksen and her children, Jordynn, Annika, Logan, and Heavenly; grandparents, Barton and Lynda Ryan; Gene and LouRita Steele. Preceded in death by his grandmother, Connie Ryan.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2008, in the Nephi North Stake Center, 1125 North 400 East.
