Michelle Farley
1968 ~ 2016

Michelle Garfield Farley, age 47, passed away February 4, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada due to complications from Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome. At the time of her passing, she was surrounded by her family.
Michelle was born on April 5, 1968 in Nephi, Utah to Arnon "Rex" and Linda Garfield. Michelle spent her early years in Delta. Her family moved to Mona when she was eleven. She attended junior high and high school in Nephi. Michelle was a friend to everyone. One of her greatest joys in high school was being a part of the Provita drill team. She would often talk about the friendships she made and great times she had while performing.
Michelle graduated from Juab High School in 1986 with high honors. After high school she attended Stevens-Henager Business College in Provo where she earned her diploma in secretarial science. Again, she graduated with high honors in 1988.
Michelle married Glen Farley on January 6, 1989 in Mona. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on January 18, 1992. Opportunity for work led the couple to Las Vegas in 1990 where they were living at the time of her passing. Michelle's greatest joy in life was that of being a mother. She enjoyed everything about being a mother and was the most loving and caring mother a child could ask for. Michelle was blessed with three children: John, Jordan and Lyndsee, whom she loved completely. Michelle was also blessed with another daughter when John married Rachel Rollins. John and Rachel blessed her with three beautiful grandchildren: Isaiah, Dayton and Addisen. These children became her whole life and she loved them with all her heart. She received great joy in helping to take care of them and spoiling them.
Michelle was also very excited to gain another son. She was so happy that Lyndsee has met a great young man in Glenn DiNicola and was looking forward to their future together.
Michelle longed to move back to her home state of Utah so she could be near her family. She missed her Aunt Nan and Uncle Bob, whom she felt were her second set of parents. She missed her brother Richard and her father Rex and wanted to be near them. She especially missed her best friend, her mother Linda. She loved her family!
Michelle is now pain free and in the loving arms of her Savior. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Shelly, I will love you forever!--Glen
