Eugene Cloward
Eugene "Mose" O'Leary Cloward, age 86, passed away at
home on Feb. 13, 2005. He was born March 14, 1918 in Moroni,
Utah, to Hyrum Welles and Sophie N. O'Leary Cloward. He was
married for 63 years to Anna E. Hansen, married May 31, 1941
in Nephi. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti
LDS Temple on June 3, 1959.
He was a member of the LDS Church, High Priest, mission
at Moroni Cannery. He was an avid outdoors man, he loved
fishing, hunting, hiking, camping and cooking Dutch oven
stews. Eugene spent most of his life farming, raising
turkeys and sheep. He worked for Moroni City, Moroni
Junior High and Moroni Processing Plant.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Cloward of Moroni;
children, LeGrand (Valerie) Cloward of West Valley, Welles
(Gail) Cloward of Spring City, Dixie Green of West Jordan;
13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Grace
(Leland) Ostler and Marcel Jackson, both of Nephi, Jewel
(Paul) Bailey of Moroni, Perry (Diane) Bruno of Salt Lake
City. He was preceded in death by parents, step father, 4
brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005 at
the Moroni LDS Stake Center at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call
Wednesday from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to
services. Interment at Moroni City Cemetery.
Paul Sundquist
Paul Freddy "Swede" Sundquist, age 62, passed away
February 12, 2005 in Nephi, Utah. He was born April 4, 1942
in Firth, Idaho, to Fred Harold and Afton Mildred Morse
Sundquist. He married Lydia Ouderland Wilson November 25,
1989 in Lake Worth, Florida.
He is survived by his wife Lydia of Mona; children,
Angela Belk and Jennifer Sundquist, 1 granddaughter;
brother, Robert Sundquist; sisters, Debbie Sundquist and
JoyAnn Buchanan; step-sons, Roger Wilson and Clayton
Wilson.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday,
February 16, 2005 at the Mona Cemetery. Friends may call one
hour prior the services at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94
West 300 North Nephi, Utah.
Angela Tidwell
Angela Marie Tidwell returned home to her Heavenly Father
February 13, 2005. Born January 1, 1987 to Bryant Evan and
Anna Madoline Tidwell, she arrived with a bang as the first
baby of the New Year.
Angie continued to make extraordinary accomplishments
throughout her life. She earned numerous awards for
outstanding academic performance and acknowledgements of her
very special acts of kindness to others. Angie loved to play
softball, write poetry and play piano. She was a green belt
in Karate. She dreamed of winning the World Poker Tour. By
far, Angela's greatest attribute has been her undying love
for her family. She is so very special to us and we will
always miss her sweet smile.
Angela is survived by her parents, Bryant and Anna
Tidwell; brothers, Bernie D. Tidwell, Benjamin J. Tidwell
(Misty); sisters, Sara Ann Tidwell and Brandy Lee Tidwell;
nephew, Alyx Louis-J Tidwell; grandmother, Ardys B. Tidwell;
great-grandparents, Ollin Wendell and Dorothea Marie Renfro;
and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Angie was preceded in
death by her baby sister, Misti Rose Tidwell, grandmother
Madoline Carole Sperry and grandfather, Louis Dwane
Tidwell.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 17, at
12 Noon at the Nephi 8th Ward Church, 222 South 100 East. A
viewing will be held Wednesday, Feb. 16, from 6-8 p.m. at
the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North, Nephi, and one
hour prior to services at the church.
