Allen Christensen
Allen LaDell Christensen, age 91, passed away January
29, 2005 in Nephi, Utah. He was born September 19, 1913 in
Nephi to Joseph Marion and Louisa Ann Allen Christensen. He
married Enid Brough September 23, 1936 in the Manti LDS
Temple. Allen and Enid were married 68 years.
He worked for 40 years in the rubber manufacturing
industry and was a charter member of the Nephi Lions Club.
Grandpa served many years as a devoted member of the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He is survived by one son, Joseph G. (Jolene)
Christensen of Nephi; 4 grandchildren 9
great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his
parents, three brother, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday,
February 2, 2005 in the Nephi 1st Ward, 222 South 100 East.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services. Interment
will be in the Nephi Vine Bluff Cemetery. Funeral Directors:

Don E. Bowers
Don E. Bowers, son of Abraham and Beryl Bigler Bowers,
born November 5, 1914 in Nephi, passed away January 25, 2005
at Inglewood, California.
Don leaves his loving wife of 66 years, Wanda Ingram
Bowers. They were married on June 18th 1938. He also
leaves a son Mike Bowers, daughter Kathy Bramer, 5
grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
Don was in the National Guard and the Army Field
Artillery for 6 years. He worked at Douglas Aircraft
for 32 years and retired in 1973.
