Note of Appreciation to the Juab Fine Arts Council. I
just wanted to publicly thank the Juab Fine Arts Council
and the men, women and children who on a regular basis
volunteer their time, talent, services and expertise for
such a noble cause. It is a privilege to live in a
community where so many are willing to participate in
events that benefit the community as a whole. The caliber
of individuals on the committee and those who volunteer
is truly amazing. Throughout the year our community
members have access to opportunities to display their art
and talent by participating in these events. This was
once again possible on Saturday at the open house of the
auditorium Many individuals and organizations had
attempted to restore the old high school auditorium but
given all the areas that needed attention no one was able
to complete the project on their own. In the end it was
the involvement of the Juab Fine Arts Council that
brought all the groups together in order to carry out the
task. What a great honor to once again have access to the
theater located in the middle of town. Both of my parents
graduated from Juab High School and remember the
devastation alter the fire. What a delightful event to be
able to have them come down on Saturday to see their high
school auditorium restored and once again functional. It
was a dream come true for many community members and it
was inspiring to see what had been accomplished. We are
lucky to have people in our community like the members of
the Juab Fine Arts Council in key positions who can
elicit the help of others to ensure that all ideas are
entertained and incorporated to represent all the areas
of Fine Arts. It is well worth it to be willing to donate
time and resources towards future events in order to
support the great work that has taken place. Please know
that I appreciate more than words can express your
continued commitment to excellence. With warmest regard,
Sharon Kay Butterfield
