PUBLIC HEARING Nephi City will hold a public hearing on
Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at 7:00 pm. The purpose of the
hearing is to receive public comment on the following
proposed revisions to the Nephi City zoning ordinance: 1.
Revise the list of allowed uses in the Combined Use-2
(CU-2) zoning district. This revision would remove some
of the more intensive retail uses and facilitate the use
of the CU-2 district as a buffer between commercial
districts and residential districts. 2. Add zero-lot-line
development as an allowed use in the R-1-8 residential
zoning district. This change would allow "twin home"
development where a dwelling could be located with one
sidewall of the dwelling on the property line. 3.
Miscellaneous, minor clarifications of wording in the
current ordinance. Copies of the draft language for these
revisions will be available at city hall beginning
February 14, 2003. If you need assistance in order to
participate in this hearing, please contact Blair Painter
at 623-0822.
