Foster Gardner
Foster Carlos Gardner, age 90, passed away Feb. 13, 2002,
in Sandy, Utah. He was born June 26, 1911, in Levan, Utah,
to Richard Henry and Mary Eliza Mangelson Gardner. He
married Frances J. Nielsen Aug. 26, 1933, in the Salt Lake
LDS Temple. She passed away July 13, 1996.
His honesty and hard work led to his success in
business and life.
He is survived by his children, Koye (Keo) Sorenson of
Murray, Gwen (Glen) Adamson, and Carl (DiAnn) Gardner, all
of Salt Lake City; 8 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren;
brother, Grant Gardner. He was preceded in death by his wife
Frances; his parents; two sisters, Esther and Norma; four
brothers, Elgin, Charles, Russell and Merlin Gardner.
Funeral services were held Feb. 16, 2002, at Goff
Mortuary, Midvale. A viewing was held at the Anderson
Funeral Home, Nephi, Utah, prior to interment in the Levan
Cemetery, Levan, Utah.
David Greenhalgh
Dave Leslie Greenhalgh, age 57, passed away Feb. 18,
2002, at St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah after a
valiant fight with cancer.
He was born March 13, 1944, in Nephi, Utah, to Sadie
Green and Lelland Greenhalgh. He married Rosa Lee Bennett
Sept. 28, 1992, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa Lee "Toby", children,
Bobbie (Vince) Daniel of Rigby, Idaho, Shawn Webster of
Idaho Falls, Idaho, Michelle (Steve) Hancock of West Valley
City; 9 grandchildren; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He was
preceded in death by his daughter, Shauna Webster.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Thursday,
Feb. 21, 2002, at Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North
Nephi. Friends may call Thursday from 10-11:45 a.m. prior to
the services. The interment will be in Vine Bluff Cemetery,
Nephi, Utah.
Kenneth Park
Funeral service will be held today, Feb. 20, 2002, in
Kansas City, Missouri for Kenneth James Park, age 77. He was
born June 20, 1924 to Stanzius and Fern (Lunt) Park. He
received his education in the Nephi Schools and joined the
Navy at the beginning of World War II. He married Eva Pope
in 1949. He worked for TWA until he retired.
Survived by wife, sons Dale Lee and Duane James, 7
grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sisters Denee (Ray)
Stephenson, Melba (Elbert) Jensen of Nephi, Daphine Park of
Murray and brother Neil (Ann) of Georgia. Preceded in death
by parents, 2 infant sons, sister Sharon Smith, brother Boyd
Park. He will be buried in the Military Cemetery at Fort
Leavenworth, Kansas.
