LEGAL NOTICE On February 5, 2002 the Nephi City Council received a certification from the city recorder concerning a petition requesting annexation of approximately 4.75 acres into the city. The name of the annexation petition is the Nephi-Myers/Broadhead annexation petition. The proposed annexation area is located on State Highway 132 at approximately 400 West on 100 North and includes the parcels southerly and westerly to the fence lines. The area address is described as: beginning at a point on the existing Nephi Townsite Boundary said point being N 89° 19' 55" E, 866.12 feet along the Mid Section line and S 00° 00' 08" E, 693.37 feet to the South Line of State Highway 132 Right of Way and N 89° 40' 11" W, 29.38 feet from the Northwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of Section 5, Township 13 South, Range I East, Salt Lake Base & Meridian, thence as follows 377.68 feet along Nephi City Boundary Line, 45.59 feet along a fence line, 205.43 feet along said fence line, 297.25 feet along said fence line, 278.81 feet to the south line of said state highway, 548.10 feet along said right of way to the point of beginning. The complete annexation petition is available for inspection and copying at the office of the Nephi City Recorder, located at 21 East 100 North, Nephi, Utah. Nephi City may grant the petition and annex the area described in the petition unless, within the time required in the ordinance, a written protest to the annexation petition is riled with the Juab County Clerk and a copy of the protest is delivered to the office of the Nephi City Recorder.
