Beverly Powers

Beverly Ann Nielson Powers, age 71, passed away Feb. 17, 2001, at the home of her daughter in Midvale, Utah.

She was born Feb. 3, 1930, in Gunnison, Utah, to Grant C. and Arville Painter Nielson. She married Jack Edward Powers, Sr. Oct. 25, 1948, in the Los Angeles LDS Temple.

She served in many positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as well as, two missions in Nauvoo with her husband.

She is survived by her husband, Jack, of Levan; children, Jack E. (Kathy) Powers, Jr., Melanie (Geoff) Cox, and Cathryn (Gary) Evans; 16 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Wednesday (today), Feb. 21, 2001, in the Levan LDS Chapel. Friends may call at the church from 10-11:45 a.m. until time of services. The burial will be in the Levan Cemetery.
