The Juab County Fairgrounds PA system kitty received a
boost from the Juab County 4-H Horse Program Council
Officers during commission meeting on Monday.
Officers attended commission meeting to present the
combustion with a check for $3,000.
Terrie Vickers and Kaice Jeffs, officers in the 4-H Horse
Program, said the check should be used to help with the
installation of the public address system which will be
installed before the county fair is held.
"The last two years we have had the privilege of hosting
the state horse show here," said Jeff Banks, USU extension
agent. "We stuck our heads out on the bids."
The event was highly successful and those who attended
were grateful for the fine service and the excellent
facilities, he said. The officials who select a site for the
rotating horse show were satisfied.
Banks said the show should return to Nephi at another
time. "The horse show is rotated but we should get it beck
in about 10 years."
"As a result, we have some money which can be presented
to help pay for the new system at the fair grounds."
