THEY DID IT AGAIN • The JHS ProVita won the Region 14 title on January 19 after placing 1st in all categories. They will compete at the state competition on January 31-February 1 at UVU.

They did it again! The JHS ProVita earned another region title on Saturday, January 19 at the Region 14 Drill Team Competition at Juab High School.

They swept the competition in all three categories: military, dance and kick.

Carbon High School came in 2nd place overall after placing 3rd in military and dance and 2nd in kick. Delta High School placed 3rd overall after placing 2nd in military and 3rd in kick. Union High School placed 2nd in dance. Also competing was American Leadership Academy.

Alex Marsh placed 3rd in the drill down competition behind dancers from Union (1st) and ALA (2nd).

Ashlin Ludlow was named to the Academic All-Region team. She also was named to the All-Region team along with Marissa Kendall and McKayla Timothy.

The team will know compete at the 3A State Drill Team competition at Utah Valley University on January 31-February 1. Semifinals begin at 10:00 am on Thursday, and finals begin at 9:00 am on Friday. Tickets can be purchased online from the UVU website starting January 16 or at the ticket office the day of the event.
