
TAKING THE OATH OF OFFICE
Heather Taylor and Brian Ercanbrack were sworn in by
Judge Sharla Williams at Levan Council meeting Jan.
11. Taylor replaces Jerry Stephensen as town clerk.
Ercanbrack takes over the council seat priorly held by

Along with the new year comes new assignments for
Levan council members. Mayor Bob Shepherd handed out the
assignments.
Newest council member Brian Ercanbrack will oversee
water, streets, animal control, and beautification.
Mayor Shepherd will oversee the office and employees
and the electrical system.
Council member Ralph Brooks will oversee the cemetery,
the park, beautification, and act as mayor pro tem.
Council member Brady Taylor will oversee Planning and
Zoning, cable tv, ambulance, and be a representative for the
recreation district.
Council member Corey Christensen will oversee JRDA
(natural gas and landfill), and be a representative for the
fire board.
Heather Taylor will take over the clerk
responsibilities. She will also continue to serve as the
Planning and Zoning secretary and town treasurer for the
time being.
