APRIL SHOWERS? • In the middle of January, with temperatures in the 50s, rain showers seem to be the order of the day. These mallards enjoyed swimming in a puddle on Tuesday as rain quickly turned the ground into mud. The weather man is calling for more of the same until the end of the week.

 

SWEARING IN • Two Mona Town Council members were sworn into office on last Tuesday evening at the beginning of council meeting. Nila Keyte, town clerk, administered the oath of office to Doran Kay, incumbent, right and to Glenda Buchanan, left.
